Within this community weaving is an important tradition because it preserves its history. The art of weaving teaches proper techniques and it narrates, in its symbology, their own story which tells about their social life, their cosmovision and their connection with the land and nature. Their youth is motivated to learn the practice of weaving beads because their bright colors, accesible raw materials and its inclusion in school activities. This profession has increased in its practice remarkably and has involved both men and women.
